In both sedans, you’ll find comfortable seating appointments. The driver’s seat in both the Corolla and the Elantra is 6-way adjustable, allowing you to find your ideal seating position.

Both vehicles also come with manual air conditioning systems. These will help you find your ideal in-cabin temperature. The climate control system in the Corolla does feature an added dust and pollen filter, though. This feature will help keep the air entering the cabin clean as well as cool. Both models also offer available automatic climate control systems on trims above the base level.

Multimedia Amenities

You’ll also find similar multimedia setups in both sedans, featuring wireless Android Autoä and Apple CarPlay^Ò capabilities. These will make it easy to integrate your mobile device with your vehicle for seamless connectivity while on the go. The multimedia system in the Corolla does have an added feature, though. The Corolla also comes with Amazon Alexa compatibility, giving you another way to stay connected.

These two sedans also offer the ability to upgrade your multimedia experience with available premium audio systems. The Elantra has an available Bose premium audio system, while the Corolla has an available Audio Plus system with JBL^Ò speakers. Both systems come with audio tech from two of the top audio manufacturers in the world, so you can be assured of high sound quality.

However, the JBL^Ò system in the Corolla comes with an additional speaker. This system will provide nine speakers, while the Bose system in the Elantra only comes with eight speakers.

Safety & Assistive Technology

You’ll also want to examine the safety and driver-assistive technology at work in both the Corolla and the Elantra. In both sedans, you’ll find great driver-assistive features. For example, both cars come with a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection. These systems work to detect any oncoming obstructions and help you avoid them.

The Corolla does come with quite a few additional driver-assistive features, though. For example, its Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control system broadens the applications of traditional cruise control, using sensors to adjust speed and maintain a preset following distance from the vehicle ahead. This type of tech is available on the Hyundai sedan, but it does not come standard.

Additionally, the Corolla comes with a Road Sign Assist feature as part of its standard Toyota Safety Senseä 2.0 package. This feature will help detect road signs, like speed limit signs, and alert you so you’ll remain informed on the go. This feature isn’t available on the Hyundai Elantra.
